Pairing your pedal sensor is super easy, just follow JP in this short video and you'll be riding in no time. Pairing only needs to be done if a new powerpack or sensor have been acquired, on a new kit they should pair automatically on first start-up.
Read below for text instructions:
1.- Turn off the battery and remove the pedal sensor from the crank arm.
2.- Place pedal sensor on flat surface with logo pointing UP and wait a couple of seconds. Tap once on the surface, light should turn aqua and beep. Tap again and light should turn blue and beep two (2) times. Sensor is in scan mode (led breathes blue).
3.- From OFF, hold the battery button until the light turns blue (pairing mode).
4.- When both pair, the pedal sensor will beep three (3) times and the battery led will start blinking quickly at its current state of charge (Red-Orange-Yellow-Green depending on how much charge it has). When the battery is blinking, it is ready but will not provide power so you can install the pedal sensor without the motor spinning.
5.- Once the pedal sensor is properly attached to you crank arm, press the battery button once and the led will go solid and start providing power once the pedal sensor moves. Be careful with the motor spinning!
