Syncing the Batteries
Unplug the rubber cap on the charging port and insert the charger. The batteries will immediately wake up and begin syncing. Wait until the lights on both batteries hold a constant color. You can then unplug your charger.
Pairing the Board with the Remote
With you board still on, turn your remote on by holding the B button for 2 seconds. Your remote should automatically connect to your board.
- If your board and remote do not pair automatically, press and hold A and B to enter the menu. Use the throttle to navigate to Settings and press A to select. Continue to navigate to Settings > Remote > Pair. Press and hold the battery button for 5 seconds and release when the light turns blue.
The remote's LCD screen provides a variety of information about your system, such as Speed, Riding Mode, Board Battery Level, Bluetooth connection, and Remote Battery Level.
Testing, Syncing, and Flipping the Motors
To test if your kit is functioning, hold the A button and then push forward on the throttle. Your motors should begin to spin.
If your motors are spinning in opposite directions, then they are out of sync. Hold the A and B buttons to open the menu. Navigate to Settings and press A to select. Find the Motor option and press A. Then find the Sync Motors option and press A once again. Press B to back out of the menu.
Test the motors again. If the two motors are spinning the same direction but orientated for front-wheel drive, you'll need to flip your motor rotation. Navigate to the Motor option in the menu and then select the Flip Rotation option.
Test the motors once more and confirm they are both spinning in the correction orientation for rear-wheel drive.
You can choose if you want rear-wheel or front-wheel drive, but we recommend RWD for better traction and power delivery.
