So you've drained a few batteries and are now curious about what do the A and B buttons do while riding? You've come to the right place!
Holding A+B allows you to get into the remote's MENU if your speed is below 5 kph (3 mph), but while riding they have the following functions:
A: CRUISE CONTROL
Holding down the A button will hold the speed for you without the need of throttle input so you can concentrate on carving and skating. Once you are at the desired speed, let go of the throttle and hold down A, the board will keep that speed meaning it will accelerate slightly if flat, strongly if an uphill is encountered and it will even brake just enough if you begin going downhill.
Be mindful that the throttle curve changes while in Cruise Control. Acceleration is much smoother and slower but braking stays the same for safety reasons. Be sure to try it out and get a feel for it on an empty stretch of road/asphalt.
B: NITRO
Do you ever want an extra bit of power, especially in lower power modes? Well that's exactly what the B button does, it provides up to 8 seconds of additional power and eliminates the speed limiters. A bar will appear on the remote OLED Screen to show how much Nitro is available and how it recharges back once its not in use. No you have no excuse if you loose your next race!

It would be good to be able to enable a Nitro for more than 8 seconds.
